Altamura have the expertise to make repairs that are durable and invisible. Repairs that are almost as strong as the original plastic component.

Almost any part of the bike can be repaired, our expert bodywork finishing can repair and remove scuffs, scratches, cracks and holes.

Once the part is refinished and painted (inside and out) in the Altamura paint shop, it looks like new, and is almost indistinguishable from a replacement part.
Naturally, we compare the costs of panel repair, respray and new decals with sourcing and fitting replacement parts. In most cases repair and refinishing is the most cost effective solution.

Bike Tank Repair

We can repair damage ranging from scratches and scuffs to major impacts. We can pull out dents, reshaping and refinishing with specialised techniques, gradually bringing a tank back to its original shape. Maintaining the integrity of the tank is our aim and we minimise the use of filler to achieve this.

Once refinished there is no way to tell that the tank has been repaired. Well perhaps….the paint finish is usually better than standard!
With tanks costing anything from £300 - £1500, effective repair makes good financial sense.

Fuel tanks rarely escape damage in even the most minor accidents, despite this, we can count on one hand the amount of new tanks ordered and fitted in the Altamura workshop
