Typical issues include battery malfunction, failing alternator and faulty regulator/rectifier, any of which could leave you stranded with a ‘flat’ or ‘fried’ battery. Hence the DGV is particularly useful for touring or commuting. Unit is both specific plug in fit and universal hardwire. Additional loom is required for plug in fitment.
